Severance 's Dichen Lachman has joined the cast of Planet of the Apes, according to The Hollywood Reporter . Additionally, THR has released a new synopsis for the film, which teases the warring tribes of apes as they rise to dominate the Earth.

Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes continues the series of reboots that began with Rise of the Planet of the Apes.
